About the Project
Floor Solutions Hawaii division removed 4500 sq ft of flagstone tile and 1200 sq ft of artificial grass with our Terminator removal machines. We then used our floor grinders to remove any existing thin set. Added channel and French drains all around the pool deck needed to be installed. This meant we had to so saw cut and demo parts of the existing slab before we could install the new drains and pour back new concrete around them. Then epoxy fill up to 1.5” needed to be installed to create slope to the new drains before a Dura-a-flex Quartz MMA Pool Deck Coating could be installed. Inside the Pool and Spa, we demoed the existing tile, poured new steps to match the elevations, installed new tile and railings. The great part about this project is we did all this work in 5 weeks for less than half the cost of the lowest bid the resort received. This cost and schedule were only able to be achieved because all in-house crews were used.
