About the Project
Terrazzo Floor installation at the Federal Fire Station at Grand Coulee Dam. Before the job started Floor Solutions color matched and sourced aggerates to match the existing terrazzo floors that were installed inside the Dam in 1942. Due to the condition of the concrete floors, 1” of Epoxy/Sand infill had to be placed and leveled before installation could begin. Over 8000 sq ft of Terrazzo in 3 different colors was ultimately installed. In addition to the terrazzo floors Floor Solutions precast and installed 700 linear feet of 6” cove base and 44 stairs treads.
